Hello! I'm Miller

안녕하세요 저는 밀러입니다

Ayup! I'm Natasha HowarthMiller a Nottingham Lass capturing weddings in Nottingham, Leeds and all over the UK.

I live with my husband Chris in our kooky terraced house in Nottingham City Centre.

I'm a huge music lover with K-pop currently taking the top spot on my spotify playlist, a BIG tea drinker, a lover of travel (with only 1 wonder of the world left on my bucketlist!) and I adore all things spooky.

I'm pretty chill and try to bring a calming vibe to the day whilst being on it and organised.

A Passion for Photography.

From an early age my passion has always been creativity, wether that's teaching myself graphic design, making music, taking photos, video editing or pretty much any of the arts, I've always found great pleasure in creating something and realised how much gratification I received when creating things for others.

I knew wherever my creativity would take me I always wanted it to be something that gave others joy, this started 9 years ago when I was a designer working for a PR company and making music on the side (to keep the dream alive kids!) and feeling a little underwhelmed by designing school brochures and organising dull photo & video shoots for clients.

My Husband and I decided to take the plunge and set up our own media company creating music, imagery, photography and videography for businesses in and around Yorkshire with success! In this time we worked with some amazing clients including MTV, Huddersfield Giants, Toyota, Burnley FC, Barnsley FC, Channel 4 and more.

During this time we developed our skills and offered photography & videography services to businesses and surprisingly to us we started to get enquiries from couples looking for a team to capture their wedding day, so we said "why the hell not!" and the rest is history.

Fast forward 8 years and I am still so incredibility grateful to call wedding photography my full time career with the greatest job satisfaction a girl could ask for! I honestly wouldn't trade what I do for anything, getting to meet couples dedicating their lives to each other, to witness the most beautiful exchanges of words, the raw and real emotion of a wedding day just fills me with excitement and I consider myself very lucky to have travelled down the path of preserving memories that are so important.

Your wedding day is as important to me as it is for you and if I'm lucky enough to be chosen to capture your day I want you to know I care and I'll be there doing my all to make your memories perfect.

Peace & Love

Jigsaw Clothing

Luxury british clothing

Last year I had the absolute pleasure of being a part of Jigsaws creators series. Focused on small businesses with a passion for fashion & featured some of the girls from Nottinghams own White Rabbit Tea Rooms showcasing their summer Tea Dress Collection.

White Rabbit Tea Rooms

vintage style tearooms

Over the past few years I've had the absolute pleasure of being resident photographer for these adorable little tea rooms. If your ever in Nottingham and love afternoon tea, scrummy cakes and delicious drinks with a kooky vintage vibe this is the place!

Salon B

hairdressing experts

Photographing this gorgeous model was easy as pie (because she's my kid sister!) these shots were taken for the amazing Salon B to showcase their incredible hairdressing skills and ELEVEN Australia product range.

31K

Cocktails & Kitchen

Big NYC vibes in little old Nottingham, these guys are good friends of ours and I've had the pleasure of shooting their mouthwatering food, cocktails and a few very exciting events for them. Give them a visit if your in Hockley.

Family Shoots

new additons to the fam

I also from time to time do cute at home family shoots! I love capturing families in their own homes to really showcase who they are and incorporate those snuggly creature comforts we all hold dear. i especially love when its a new addition to the family!

babies & kids

super fun. super cute.

As a 30 something year old woman it seems ALL of my friends are having kids! And being a photographer means I get the awesome job of documenting them growing and being cheeky little monkeys!

Spitting Facts.

FACT #1

I used to be a singer in a band

Thats right! Before I became obsessed with capturing the raw emotion of a wedding I sang and wrote music with the same raw emotion, touring around the UK and abroad in a smelly van (it's never as glamorous as it looks).

We had some wonderful success with our music making it to MTV, Hollyoaks, Gotham, Made in Chelsea, Awkward and more... unfortunately the music industry is a tricky one and my dreams of being a rock star changed to being a rock star photographer instead!

FACT #2

i am a keen traveller

I am at my happiest when I am travelling around a new country. I love to embrace and experience new customs and cultures and have spent the last few years of my life travelling the world with my fellow adventurer and husband Chris. I truly believe travel broadens the mind and opens you up to a new world of inspiration and after visiting South Korea last year I've taken it upon myself to learn Korean so that I can sing along to my favourite K-pop songs!

so if your looking for a little honeymoon inspo I'm your gal ... seriously hit me up!

FACT #3

i love my yoga practise

This is somewhat of a new chapter in my mindfulness journey. I'm a huge advocate of self-love, reflection and finding new ways to relax and calm the mind in this busy world we live in. I'm no yoga master! I'm still wobbly AF but have found this practise to be a helpful and welcome challenge. I have always thought I was born in the wrong era and should totally be a child of the 60's as I love any kind of hippy dippy ways to be yourself and spread a little peace and love.

FACT #4

my family mean the world

I am so grateful for my little fam (that could be considered one big old fam if you include Chris' side!). I am a wife, a sister, a cool ass auntie and I love nothing more than spending time with my nearest and dearest and making memories.

I especially love decorating the house with my family on occasions like Halloween and Christmas and after our trip to Mexico last year we have decided to celebrate Day of the Dead to remember our loved ones that are no longer with us... super cute right?
